Had a really nice day hanging out with Tina, Jeff and Raph :) The plan was to go to the beach but it was raining :( so Plan B, we went Yum Cha @ Hurstville! haha Then we went over to Raph's new place @ Ultimo.. sooo nice :P
Haven't seen Angie for like 6 weeks.. cos she just came back from Japan! She's grown again and has learnt all these new words :) Here are some shots ~

Had such an awesome weekend!!! Haven't gone away with friends for yonks... A bunch of us went to Canberra last weekend for the Good Neighbour Tournament. There were Spicy Soba, Soba, SiF and The Fellars.
For the past few months everyone's been training their asses off and it all came down to this one weekend. I feel so empty now that it's over :( Through this I have met a bunch of new friends and hopefully this friendship will continue. I had heaps of fun... the SiF team has brought me to tears through laughter many times, and Spicy Soba has shown me a good time in volleyball.

HAPPY PINK APPRECIATION DAY to everyone at the DoCS Helpline :)
It's been a hectic few weeks with a bunch of cases hitting the media. DoCS has been getting a hounding and Helpline has hacked a lot of it as call spikes hit the roof. Today was nice as it was pink day for us at work :p We had helium balloons (haha), marshmallows, lollies, cake... mmm... *yum*
It was nice to get compliments from Manager and knowing our work is being appreciated. Helpline has been holding up really well through this rough patch and the storm will eventually blow over.

neh, DoCS is being hounded lately in the media. Like, wtf?! Job is hard enough without media pressure. A child dies and all the blame goes to DoCS.. well if an adult dies do people blame the police? ppppff... what about all the good work that we do? All the children's lives that we do save? ggggrrr... makes me so angry when DoCS gets bad press. People who work in media and people that believe their shit is just naive.
Pink day tomorrow at work.. what should I wear?! I'm looking fwd to the fairy floss and pink cupcakes :p haha

Severe cycle.. like a circle, it has no beginning and no end. It just goes round and round.
I know I may be sometimes self centred and want to be the highest priority in ur life. But when one doesn't feel loved, what else can one do but chuck a tantty and seek attention. And when that doesn't work... nth else I can do but start not caring..
Faaaark.. had enough... really... fuckin empty promises.

Don't like routine, don't like predictability. Why talk to a wall? A wall that doesn't respond and show no emotions? One that does not interact, empathise, or show interest.
I need a pet... I need a friend...
I need to find someone who shares the same passion towards life as I do. One who is interested in my endeavours and shares my achievements throughout life.
Gabe is going for two years... Kimmy for one... Tram has been gone for a year and is still gone for another... I'm waiting for my turn! I need to do it on my own. yeh? ...yeh.
I cannot keep living in this frustrated state. The one person that keeps me in this state... I need to learn, to start not caring.
