It's been a week since I have been in this foreign country they call England. The weather is crap... and the food expensive!!! Who pays $5 for a cup of coffee? PPPFFF~ Guess it is finally time for me to kick my coffee addiction ><
It has been a challenge here in Coventry... bank accounts, rental, national insurance numbers, transport, hotels, volleyball, the people.. the list goes on. Not to mention the fact that we nearly got mugged the other night~>< Still trying to suss the area out but it looks kinda dodgy so far!
I visited work the other day and met the staff. The people there seem very nice.. but the place is so DODGY!!! It made me feel right at home in Mount Druitt.. haha^^ The office is over three floors.. but it looks like it is contained in a cardboard box which has graffiti all over it.. I will take some photos and show you guys when I get a chance!
Went to London for a day as Bill had to go to some office to sort things out. The place is ok.. shops look heaps nice <3 but didn't get a chance to go shopping >< sure I will though in the future!!!

Just a quick post... changing hotels today so not sure when I have internet again. Have been looking at rentals and found one place that we like. We're going to the agent today to get all the paperwork in. Fingers crossed! It's going to be hard tho as we have no credit or savings history in the UK and no references :><: Which means we need to pay 3mths rent upfront!!! *ouch*
All is well otherwise. Went to London yesterday and what a lovely city :) Wish I was living there!!!

What a LONG flight!!! But all went well, and Bill and I arrived safely at Birmingham Airport~!!! We are all settled in our hotel at Coventry... there's not much around this area.. reminds me a lot of old home, Cherrybrook :p
We have a Maccas right next to our hotel.. SCORE! haha It is freezing cold here.. and grey all the time :><: Where's the Sydney warm weather gone?! Seeing the sun would be a good start! AAAAAH~!
Missing home already.. cried nonstop as the plane left Sydney.. I asked Bill so many times whether we can go home... haha. The first few months would be hard.. but hopefully.. we'll meet some new friends and get use to the area. I guess as long as we have each other, all will be good...

Caught up with Jean and Alicia tonight over coffee. As usual we were chatting nonstop about everything and anything. Somehow we were talking about doctors who smoke.. and how wrong it looks... and then Jean goes "it's just wrong.. like a dentist sucking on a lollipop".. Alicia & Sandy = -.-" and then.. "HAHAHAHA!" Will miss you girls heaps... thanks for popping out tonight! Will hopefully see you mid yr some time eh?! *wink wink*
Everyone has been asking me whether I am excited... but I'm not. Instead, I am feeling a sense of loss and starting to really miss Sydney already! Maybe I have been flat chat rushing last minute things I haven't had the chance to get excited yet. Dunno~ Will miss all u friends for sure! aaaaaaah~

Spent last Saturday playing wii at a friend's place and volleyball <3 aaaaaah~ supposedly the last vball session in Sydney this yr :( shame shame~ and we didn't even play that long! AH~! But better than nth.. got to spend the day with my bestie :p Tried to convince him to stay at home to study to no avail. Came to the agreement that he will come out Saturday and stay home Sunday :)

Had lunch with my bro Jason this arvo at Circular Quay~^^ So good to catch up~ It was so hard before when we were both working to set a time to meet up. Now that I have no work, I can cater for him. haha~ It was nice to know what he's bn up to and what's happening in his life. I'm happy for you Jase!^^ Will miss you when I am in the UK.. don't work too hard!

Throughout my life... I have always treasured my friends dearly. Being an only child and growing up in a strict family environment, friends are important to me. A lot of people that know me well would know this. I easily trust people... and take the world as my friend.
Mum has always said that I am too honest to people and trust people too much, and that one day it will bite me back. Throughout my life I have experienced so many let downs, and proved my mum's theory right in many ways.
Shit happened recently that has made me think about my theory as treating the world as my friend. I've always believed that you should treat ppl how you want to be treated. But of course, the world, society, and people do not operate this way. I can't even trust my own "friends". What a let down~
But being the optimistic person I am.. life goes on and the glass is always half full. I may have a few dodgy people around me... but I also have a lot of great friends who are honest, truthful and trustworthy. Thank you to you all who makes me believe~ <3 xxx

I stayed up watching Atonement last night~ what a great movie!!! Now I know why it was nominated for so many awards. I have been asking so many pplz whether they have watched it and no one has -.-" There's many great themes in the movie.. love, war, social class, personal growth.. it's great how it all gels together. aaaaah~ what a classic~! Even when the movie finished, it made me think about a lot of things. A lot of pplz won't have a clue what I am going on about.. but I know some of you out there do!!! Like.. Jean would.. yeh girl? :p
Saw my girls on Friday.. Tina took me to Cabramatta along with Jeff & Bill cos Tina knows that I like the dessert thing there.. mmm.. and the drive was so worth it!!! Here's a photo of Angie and I <3

Brian had knockout game and trials today for vball.. and they lost one game. BUT Brian got into Sydney Rep Team!!! YAY~! That's my boy^^ Congrats~~~ *hugs*
Went to Macquarie Centre today with Bill. Developed my photos.. yay! More for my album~ =) Spent a lot of time in Borders reading books/mags.. aaaah, the life of being unemployed :><:

Had an awesome weekend with good friends :) I am going to miss my life here in Sydney so much. Especially since I have formed some new friendships in the past few months :><: Volleyball has been awesome too... how am I going to leave you all behind?!
